10k Running Race 20th September 2026

At a meeting yesterday in the estates office with Tom Wallbank, and the organisers from RMBC and the running club in regards to the 10K race around Wentworth as last year we are led to believe that there will be around 800 competitors.

Vehicles for the event will be parked in the grounds of Wentworth Woodhouse and marshalled by the organisers.

The race is on the 20^th September 2026, starting at 9.30am and finishing at Wentworth Woodhouse.

The race will be run over the same distance and route as last year. Traffic management will be in place, but only the runners are running so short closures. The organisers have already been to see business owners and properties. that may be affected. Farm animals (cows) will be secured by the farmers, especially in the grounds of Wentworth Woodhouse.

There will be a route plan and further information issued at a later date.
